Meet the Crew Keeping Franklin on the Road

We're More Than a Shop — We're Your Neighbors

If you've driven down Alpha Drive and spotted our sign, you already know we've been part of this Franklin community since 2007. What started as one Honda guy with a passion for keeping people safe on the road has grown into a full crew of technicians who treat every vehicle like it belongs to someone they know — because most of the time, it does.

We wanted to do something a little different with this post. Instead of talking about our team, we asked them to talk directly to you. Each of our technicians has a late-winter tip that could save you time, money, or a headache over the next few weeks. And since Franklin has so much going on between now and the end of March, we figured we'd round that up too — because what's the point of a well-running car if you don't have anywhere fun to take it?

Tips from the Guys in the Back

Oscar
Technician • 45 Years of Experience
"Late winter is when I see batteries finally give up. They've been working overtime all season and once the temps start bouncing around, that's when they quit on you. If your car hesitated to start this morning — even just a little — don't wait until you're stranded in the parking lot at the Factory Farmers Market. Come see me and let's test it. Takes five minutes."

Technician
"This time of year in Tennessee you're running the heat at 7 a.m. and the A/C by lunch. That flip-flopping takes a toll on your cabin air filter and your climate system. If you're getting a funky smell when the air kicks on, or it's just not blowing like it used to, bring it by. A cabin air filter swap is quick, cheap, and makes a huge difference in how your car feels inside."
Jason
Technician
"One word: potholes. The roads around Cool Springs and Mack Hatcher take a beating every winter, and by late February they're rough. If your steering feels loose, you're hearing clunking over bumps, or your car is pulling to one side — get your suspension and alignment checked before a $200 problem turns into an $800 one. We see it every single spring."
Mack
Technician
"Check your tire pressure every couple of weeks right now. I know it sounds basic, but these temperature swings between February and March mess with your PSI more than people realize. For every 10-degree drop, you lose about a pound of pressure. Low tires wear unevenly, burn more gas, and don't handle well. Two minutes at the air pump saves you real money."
Brandon
Technician
"If your check engine light has been on since… Christmas? Thanksgiving? Don't keep pretending it's a decoration. Sometimes it's something minor — a loose gas cap, an O2 sensor. Sometimes it's the start of something bigger. Either way, we'll pull the code for free and tell you exactly what's going on. No pressure, no scare tactics. Just answers."

The Folks Up Front

"I know getting your car worked on can feel stressful — you're not sure what's wrong, you're not sure what it's going to cost, and you're already thinking about how you're going to get to work. That's exactly why I'm here. I'll walk you through everything in plain English, keep you updated while we work, and make sure you never leave here feeling confused or pressured. This is supposed to feel like dropping your car off with a friend."
John
Manager
"My job is pretty simple — make sure every car gets treated like it's mine and every person who walks through that door gets treated like a neighbor. Because honestly, most of the time they are. We're not trying to be the biggest shop in Franklin. We're trying to be the one you trust. That's what gets me up in the morning."
